Visiting Soncino is to come in a typical Lombard city with characteristical old palaces made in red bricks. Soncino is located on the right bank of the Oglio river and it has always been strategically important, a bulwark occupied from time to time by Milanese people and Venetians.

The first complete Hebrew Bible was printed in Soncino on 1488. Today, this tradition can be discoverd by visiting the museum in the old printers house.
